SAVELLA | 2009 Marlow Explorer 61C
Distinctive Craftsmanship. Spacious Accommodations. Proven Cruising Experience.
SAVELLA brings together the classic lines of the Marlow Explorer 61C, a richly finished custom interior, and an equipment package suited to extended cruising. Her owner-specified high-gloss teak cabinetry, teak-and-holly soles, and green marble surfaces create a warm, elegant setting throughout the yacht.
An expansive full-beam primary suite anchors the three-stateroom layout, offering a walk-around king berth, generous storage, and separate his-and-hers heads connected by a shared walk-through shower. A forward VIP with an island queen berth and a separate twin-bunk guest cabin provide welcoming accommodations for family and guests. Additional crew accommodations are accessed from the aft deck.
Twin 1,015-hp Caterpillar C18 diesels, Naiad fin stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, and both pilothouse and flybridge helm stations support her cruising versatility. A factory-installed hydraulic lowering hardtop is a particularly distinctive feature, providing added flexibility for routes with bridge-clearance considerations.
Life aboard flows naturally from the sheltered aft deck to the salon and wet bar, then forward to the raised galley and pilothouse dinette. Covered side decks and a Portuguese bridge complement the practical layout, while the enclosed flybridge offers another inviting space for cruising and entertaining.
Having cruised the East Coast, the Bahamas, and America’s Great Loop, SAVELLA offers an established cruising history. Reported maintenance includes a major scheduled engine service at approximately 7,500 hours, with oil-analysis history dating to 2021. Current-ownership additions include Starlink, FLIR, AIS, and updated navigation equipment.
SAVELLA invites buyers seeking traditional yacht craftsmanship, generous living spaces, and the versatility to pursue their next cruising chapter.
