PRELIMINARY DETAILS
Chaos began life as a Grand Banks 54 SX and was transformed through major rebuilds directed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates, Lyman-Morse, and Front Street Shipyard. The resulting yacht is substantially different from the original platform. This is a semi-custom yacht built around a comprehensive mechanical systems transformation and hull extension, followed by a second phase of flybridge and equipment upgrades.

- Hull lengthened by 3 feet with a custom 5-foot swim platform
- Completely rebuilt engine room with twin 2010 Caterpillar C-18 ACERT diesels
- Evolution 3-inch enclosed propeller shafts with shaft angle reduced to 11.5 degrees
- ZF 500 A gears with electric shift and trolling valves, with Aquadrives and custom 5-blade propellers
- ZF Smart Command controls with Joystick low-speed maneuvering capability
- SidePower Bow and Stern thrusters with remotes at both upper and lower helm stations
- Custom flybridge added in 2013 with Stidd seating, custom mast, bimini top, and electronics
- Freedom Lift 2013
- 5-zone MarineAir air conditioning system totaling 66,000 BTU
- Spectra Newport 400 MKII watermaker and Reverso fuel polishing and oil-change systems
- Extensive Raymarine electronics at both upper and lower helm stations
- Westerbeke 15 kW generator and twin Victron charger/inverter units
